Rescue Diaries #1: Frankie
Found as a tiny puppy in the snowy mountains of Bcharre, Frankie had already suffered — her ears were cruelly cut. Rescued with her mother and sibling, she found warmth and care thanks to her foster Alaa and our network of rescuers. A few months later, we travelled with her to Belgium, where her new family, Mathilde and John, gave her the happy, adventurous life she deserves.
Shelter Stories #1: Meet Silvana
We met Silvana in 2023 while looking for a mother cat to nurse an orphaned kitten. In her small home in northern Lebanon, she and her two children care for over 30 rescued cats and dogs — often sharing their own food when there’s nothing left. Since then, we’ve supported her with food, vet care, and by helping three of her cats find loving homes. Her kindness and devotion continue to inspire us every day.
Shelter Story #2: Give Me A Paw
Home to over 120 dogs, Give Me A Paw has been rescuing and caring for strays across Lebanon since 2017. What began as a small initiative is now one of the country’s most trusted shelters, run by a devoted team and volunteers. Together with Emergency Room, we launched a special t-shirt and bandana collection — with every profit donated to support the shelter. Despite endless challenges, their dedication never fades, and we’re proud to stand by their side.
Rescue Diaries #2: Habi
While hiking the 500 km Lebanon Mountain Trail, Darek from Poland met a stray dog who began following him for days. He named her Habi — and their bond was instant. Through his YouTube channel, he reached out for help, and that’s when we stepped in. After months of paperwork, vet visits, and Darek’s many trips back to Lebanon to see her, they finally flew together to Poland. Today, Habi is home — safe, loved, and right where she belongs.
Rescue Diaries #3: Bambino
We found Bambino, a long-haired purebred cat, weak and trembling under a car in the busy streets of Beirut. Once bought and adored, he had been abandoned — like so many others — left to face hunger, sickness, and danger alone. No one stopped to help, and he wouldn’t have survived another week. But a month of care, warmth, and love worked wonders. Today, Bambino has regained his royal look — and more importantly, the gentle, safe life he always deserved.
